What is a distribution list?
A distribution list is an email address that sends email to more than one person.
Why should I use a distribution list?
When someone leaves, that person’s email address may be deleted. If your domain or other accounts are registered in that person’s email, then you won’t get renewal and other important notices.
What is an example of a distribution list?
Examples include: billing@yourdomain.com, tech@yourdomain.org and similar.
How do I create a distribution list email?
If you have an IT firm, contact them. If you have a Gmail or GSuite account, it’s done there. If you have Microsoft 365 email, you likely have an IT consultant. For “old-school” POP email users, you do it yourself.
